Citizenship

Sancratosia’s citizenship is divided into two categories, nationals and residents.

Sancratosian nationality is exclusive. The acquisition of the nationality or citizenship of another nation results in the loss of Sancratosian nationality.[1] An exception can be made for people whose renunciation of citizenship or nationality is not possible.

Sancratosian residency is open to everyone and is not mutually exclusive with citizenship from other nations. However, the accession of certain political functions may be reserved to citizens of Sancratosian nationality.

The acquisition of Sancratosian nationality is the prerogative of the Sovereign Princess and is not automatic. It must be consigned in the Jornal de Sancratosia.

Sancratosian nationality

By its exclusive status, Sancratosian nationality is prestigious. An individual who acquires Sancratosian nationality is a citizen and enjoys the full political rights within the Principality.

Sancratosian passports, identity cards and personal emails are reserved to citizens of Sancratosian nationality.

If you want to help Sancratosia grow and believe in the values for which it stands, you should apply for Sancratosian nationality.

Sancratosian residency

Even though it is not as prestigious as Sancratosian nationality, residency offers a point of entry within the Principality. You do not need to physically reside in Sancratosia to request residency.

If you want to support Sancratosia and the values for which it stands, you should apply for residency.

Why two categories?

Nations are populated by non-citizens everywhere. Sancratosia is the same, we want to offer the opportunity to support a nation that can help you even if you don’t have the time to contribute yourself.
