Sovereign Ordinance no 185 of 14 April 2024 on the determination of a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and of a Gross National Income (GNI)

SOVEREIGN PRINCESS OF SANCRATOSIA

Considering the Constitution of Sancratosia;

We order:

Article 1.

The National Institute of Statistics produce, each year, a mandatory statistic survey toward the persons referred to in article 2, in order to determine the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and the Gross National Income (GNI), making it possible to measure the economic activity of the Principality.

Article 2.

The population covered by this survey is composed of the following:

1. Any moral person of private right and any Sancratosian public establishment;

2. Any physical person exercising, in the Principality, as a self-employed person, a craft, commercial, industrial, professional or artistic activity;

3. The private individuals renting out furnished accommodation, land and non-residential property;

4. Any company or enterprise, of which the headquarter is located abroad, opening or operating, in Sancratosia, an agency, a branch or an administration or representative office;

5. The foreign, moral or physical, persons carrying out occasional activities in the Principality.

Article 3.

The survey is carried out by means of a questionnaire sent electronically, to the persons referred to in article 2.

In the matter of the questionnaire, are required the economic and accounting informations, the surface area of the establishments and the number of employees in order to determine the level of production of the economic agents of the Principality.

The questionnaire bears, also, the mention of the mandatory character of the survey as well as the delay by which it must be completed.

Article 4.

The informations of an economic or financial order in the questionnaire referred to in article 3 may under no circumstances be used for any purpose other than for statistical purposes, in the strict framework of the determination of a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and a Gross National Income (GNI) of the Principality.

They may not give way to a communication under nominative form. Public service members and any person participating in the operations of the statistical surveys provided for in this ordinance are bound by statistical and professional secrecy.

Article 5.

The National Institute of Statistics is authorized to receive and use, in a goal of economic and statistic studies in the strict framework of the determination of a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and a Gross National Income (GNI) of the Principality the individual data from the questionnaire referred to in article 3.
