Article 1.

The use of the citizenship identification number (CIN) shall be restricted to identification purposes by public authorities.

Article 2.

It is forbidden for any private entity to request the communication of the citizenship identification number by a Sancratosian citizen.

Article 3.

Public authorities re authorized to request the communication of the citizenship identification number for the following applications:

1. for the participation in any program reserved to Sancratosian citizens;

2. for the participation in any program which may confer an advantage to Sancratosian citizens;

3. for the acquisition of goods and services reserved to Sancratosian citizens;

4. for the participation in surveys reserved to Sancratosian citizens;

5. for the participation in elections;

Article 4.

Public authorities that request the communication of the citizenship identification number for the applications mentioned in article 2 must respect and follow the Privacy Policy and any legislation pertaining to the protection of personal data.
