History
The history of Sancratosia begins a long time ago in the mind of the Sovereign Princess around 2006. The interest in micronations grew from then until it became a reality in 2021, with the official Declaration of independence on 1 December 2021.

Oct. 2021
Emergence – On 21 October 2021, following the threat to trans rights by the government of Quebec, it was determined that Sancratosia would become a sovereign state and preparations began for the establishment of the nation. Emergence Day is celebrated annually on 21 October.

Independence – On 1 December 2021, the Principality of Sancratosia officially declared its independence and established itself as a sovereign state. Its main purposes were to offer a safe place, a place where people could be who they want to be and where the sense of community is the primary driver of its citizens. Independence Day is celebrated annually on 1 December.

Diplomacy – The Principality of Sancratosia enters in relations with other states establishing its presence on the world stage. Notably the Kingdom of Salanda became the first State to officially contact Sancratosia for a mutual recognition of existence on 3 December 2021.

Administration – The Principality of Sancratosia begins to function properly with the publication of the first edition of the "Jornal de Sancratosia", the official bulletin of the Principality, in which 15 Sovereign Ordinances are promulgated.

Government – The Principality of Sancratosia appoints Cristian Neuton as the first Minister of State in the history of the Principality.

Citizenship – On 30 January 2022, less than a month after officially unveiling its citizenship application process, Sancratosia reaches its first milestone of having 10 citizens.

ePorteta – On 1 June 2022, on the 6 months anniversary of Sancratosia, the government released ePorteta an online platform reserved for citizens.
Aug. 2022
MicroCon 2022 – On 4 August 2022, the Sovereign Princess of Sancratosia attended MicroCon 2022. Representing the Principality of Sancratosia, the Sovereign Princess received awards from other nations and had informal meetings with heads of state.

Digi Micro Summit 2022 – On 19 August 2022, the Principality of Sancratosia is invited to co-host the Digi Micro Summit with the Democratic Republic of Satoshi.

1st Anniversary – On 1 December 2022, the Principality of Sancratosia celebrates its first anniversary.
Jan. 2023
Saint-Castin–Sancratosia Treaty – On 21 January 2023, the Newgraviate of Saint-Castin becomes the first nation to sign a diplomatic treaty, in-person, with Sancratosia. Dominic Desaintes, Minister-President of Saint-Castin and Cloe, Sovereign Princess of Sancratosia are present for the occasion.

MicroCon 2023 – On 30 June 2023, the Principality of Sancratosia is among the many nations represented at MicroCon 2023. Sancratosia is also announced as a co-host of the upcoming MicroCon 2025 alongside the Empire of Aerica and the Newgraviate of Saint-Castin.
Oct. 2023
Mount Washington – On 1 October 2023, Princess Cloe becomes the first Sancratosian to reach the summit of Mount Washington in the United States.

Symbolic territorial claim – On 1 December 2023, the Sancratosian symbolic territorial claim is formalized as the Principality celebrates its 2nd anniversary.
