Article 1.

Is created a National Institute of Standards, directly placed under the authority of the Minister of State.

Article 2.

The National Institute of Standards is charged of the following missions:

1. establish and adopt standards to be used in the Principality;

2. coordinate with the National Institute of Statistics in the adoption of statistical nomenclatures to be used in the Principality;

3. represent the Principality on international standards organizations.

Article 3.

A State Committee on Standards is instituted for the purpose of ensuring the standardization between institutions in Sancratosia.

Within the framework of this mission, the State Committee formulates all recommendations or propositions that it transmits to the Minister of State. The latter may consult it on any question pertaining to the standardization.

Article 4.

The State Committee on Standards is presided by the Director of the Department of Statistics.

It is composed, apart from its president:

1. a representative of the National Council;

2. a representative of the Municipal Council;

3. the director of the National Institute of Statistics;

4. the director of the National Institute of Standards.

It meets once every year as well as upon written request of the Minister of State or of one of its members.

The president determines the agenda.

The secretariat of sittings is ensured by a public service member of the Ministry of State.

Article 5.

Within the framework of its mission defined in article 3, the State Committee on Standards proposes to the Minister of State of directory principles pertaining to the standardization in the Principality.

Article 6.

Our Secretary of State and Our Minister of State are charged, each in what concerns them, of the execution of the present Ordinance.
